About
The story behind the site and the person who built it.
The Renters' Rights Act 2025 is the biggest shake-up of private renting in a generation. For most landlords, it arrived with very little plain-English explanation of what it actually means in practice. And let's be honest — even those of us in the industry are still reading between the lines. With limited real-life scenarios to draw from yet, the interpretation of this legislation is something we're all navigating together.
That's why this site exists.
I've spent 15 years in residential lettings and lettings legislation is something I've always taken seriously — not just the headline changes, but the detail behind them and what they actually mean for landlords day to day.
I pride myself on honesty, transparency and building long-term relationships. I still have landlords who call me when they need a straight answer from someone they trust, and that same approach runs through everything on this site.
When the Act received Royal Assent in October 2025, I watched confusion spread quickly across the industry. The legislation is significant, the official guidance is dense, and the consequences of getting it wrong are real. I felt I had something useful to contribute.
RentersRightsAct.info is independent — drawing from all the trusted sources so landlords don't have to go looking. Registered members receive regular newsletters as guidance evolves and the legislation beds in. For anyone serious about staying on top of their obligations, this is built for you.
AI Comply is something I'm particularly proud of. I've spent considerable time tailoring it specifically to the Renters' Rights Act — it's not a generic chatbot. Ask it anything about the Act and the depth of the answers speaks for itself.
The free content covers the key changes, the timeline, the FAQ and the compliance checklist. Landlord Pro adds AI-powered document generation, unlimited AI Comply access, and priority Q&A with an ARLA-qualified professional — all for £2.99 a month.
Phase 1 comes into force on 1st May 2026. This site will keep you informed every step of the way.
